Jokainen tuntee tuon Mocsussa hiljalleen valuvan lääkiselämän eliksiirin, ja rohkeimmat ovat tutustuneet myös sen tuottamiin makuelämyksiin. Harva kuitenkaan on jäänyt pohtimaan, mistä tämä taikajuoma oikein tulee. Siksipä nyt, Perfeton aikakauden lähentyessä loppuaan, Q-kautinen lähti selvittämään, mistä Perfetto päätyy mocsulaisten mukeihin.
Kyseessä on siis Lidl-konsernin Perfetto-kahvi UTZ. Q:n tutkivan journalismin iskuryhmä otti yhteyttä Lidlin asiakaspalveluun. Asiakaspalvelusta ei kuitenkaan oltu kovin innokkaita antamaan tarkkoja tietoja Perfeton alkuperästä ja valmistusketjusta, sillä ne ovat valmistajan mukaan “liikesalaisuuksia”. Perfeton vastuullisen tuotannon ansaitsemaa UTZ-statusta ei puolestaan unohdettu mainita asiakaspalvelun puolesta useampaan otteeseen.
Jotain kuitenkin saatiin selville: kahvilajikkeen kerrottiin olevan robusta, mikä ei yllätä, sillä se on yleisistä kahvilajikkeista se edullisempi, ja maultaan karvaampi. Alkuperämaaksi kerrottiin (ei yhtään tarkemmin, ei yhtään laajemmin) Aasia, vaikka UTZ-sertifikaatin kriteereihin kuuluu olennaisesti kahvin jäljitettävyys. Valmistusprosessi tapahtuu puolestaan Saksassa, josta se sitten päätyy useiden välietappien kautta Suomen jakelukeskuksiin ja lopulta kaupan hyllyyn, josta urhoolliset mocsuvastaavat sen käyvät meille kantamassa.
