Ah, ensi viikonloppuna koittaa taas se aika vuodesta, kun yli 1000 medisiinaria, denttaria, farmaseuttia ja hoitajaa kipuaa saman laivan kyytiin ja antaa aaltojen kuljettaa laivan Itämeren yli Tukholmaan ja takaisin. Kahden päivän aikana laiva tarjoaa oivat puutteet tutustumiseen ja yhteyksien luomiseen kollegoihin eri kaupungeista ja tiedekunnista.
Moni on ennen risteilyä käynyt mielessään ja kollegojensa kanssa kamppailua siitä, lähteäkö mukaan rellestämään vaiko ei. Kestääkö kunto, riittääkö rahat, jääkö jostain paitsi, jos ei lähde? Eräs kollegamme ajautui samoihin pohdintoihin, erityisesti kysymykseen rahasta. Eihän se 85 euroa paljon ole, mutta usein risteilyllä tulee pelottavan paljon tuhlattua. Satoja eurojakin pahimmillaan. Kollegamme päätti perustella pelkonsa ystävilleen.
